Our Hosts

At Vestkapp Restaurant the staff takes pride in creating homemade meals from scratch. They use Norwegian produce preferably from as local farmers as possible. The menu is based on local traditions, but with a modern twist and intriguing tastes.

Kristina is the manager of the restaurant. She grew up in Selje, a short drive from Vestkapp, and has run the restaurant since 2018. Prior to taking over Vestkapp Restaurant, she has a long and broad background as a chef on the west coast of Norway. Kristina is passionate about creating meeting places with food of high quality for both the local community and visiting guests.

The kitchen chef Tone is a valued part of Kristina’s team. There is nothing that gives Tone greater pleasure than serving great food to satisfied guests with the Stadhavet ocean as a mesmerising backdrop to experience. As local hosts, Kristina and Tone not only ensure high-quality food and drinks, but also an authentic atmosphere to anyone stopping at the restaurant.

Kristina and Tone are always excited when spring approaches and weather conditions allow them to re-open the restaurant for guests. Together with the rest of the crew at Vestkapp Restaurant, they hope that you gain an unforgettable experience of both their food and the surrounding nature when you visit the western-most cliff of Norway.
