Activities and excursions

At Vestkapp you can enjoy a spectacular view and a good meal in the restaurant. If you like to be active, you can walk up to the top and wander across the flat cliff. Stadtlandet also has a wide selection of other activities to plan for when you take the trip to the western cape of Norway. Here is a small selection for inspiration:

White sandy beaches - Seljesanden, Ervik og Hoddevik

Ervik Surfshop - Surf instructors, as well as sales and rentals of surf equipment and paddle boards.

Hovden at Stad - WW2 memorial. A tunnel built by the Germans during the second world war.

St. Svithun Minnekapell - WW2 memorial in Ervik in the memory if the ship Sanct Svithun, which was hit and sunk by the British in 1943.

Stad Surfing - Surf instructors, as well as sales and rentals of surf equipment. You can also visit their cafe Kafe Strandro.

Bygda Yoga Skule - Yoga classes and retreats.

Stado - If you wish to experience Stad by boat.

Selja Kloster - Convent ruins and Norway’s first pilgrimage site.

Klosterbåten - Transportation to the Selje Convent (times and booking).

Selje Prestegard - View the history of the priests villa in Selje and visit the cafe Prestelåna kafe.
